Welcome to Rainbow B&B Accommodation and Massage, now located in Matamata.

Jonathan welcomes you to Rainbow B&B situated in a quiet estate in the country town of Matamata, Waikato. My home is a 15 year old English styled hamlet with sunny back lawn, ideal for reading, writing and relaxing with a drink. Rainbow B&B is only a five minute drive to central Matamata, 12 minutes to the Hobbiton Movie Set and less than an hour to Rotorua, Cambridge, Hamilton, Tauranga or Morrinsville. Auckland is an easy two hour drive and slightly less to Auckland Airport.

Guests are offered unlimited WiFi, use of the washing machine, clothes drier, iron/ironing board and spa pool (Jan 2021) plus sole use of the guest lounge and bathroom which is adjacent to the guest bedroom, which also has a private outdoor patio area. The guest lounge features tea and coffee making facilities.

My home and back garden is clothing optional home. Private garage parking is available.

You will share my home with my Miniature Schnauzer's; Tula (female, small and placid) and Hudson (male, standard and boisterous).

Local Area:

My home is located close to the centre of Matamata and a very short drive to the Hobbiton Movie Set, Wairere Falls and Opal Springs.

As Matamata is located in the middle of the Waikato, day trips are easy to Rotorua, Tauranga, Mt Maunganui, Papamoa Beach, Thames (Coromandel), Morrinsville, Cambridge, Hamilton, Taupo, Te Aroha and the Waitomo Caves. Auckland Airport is just under a two hour drive.
